I came across this website, thought some of you may find it interesting...it has photos/history of airplane crash sites all around the Southwest..

Thats a pretty cool site, just wish it gave a bit more specific info on were to find the crash sights.

Colin, I posted this one years ago.
I went to PC with Trey's girlfriend. She had some good hiking stories. Look him up on the AZRepublic site, they did a feature on him a while back.

Nice site Colin-
You know, there's a helicopter wreck at Fremont Saddle on Mt. Humphreys along the Weatherford Trail that I still wonder about. Here's a pic of part of the rotor:

I've gotten a few sketchy credibility and unsubstantiated explanations but nothing definitive. Anybody know anything about this? One story goes that it is a downed chopper that crashed while trying a rescue along the trail in winter. The rotor hit a tree and... Another is that it is a military aircraft that suffered some in-flight malfunction and just went down on the trail. Interesting.
