This year's tour may be more even...and consider that Lance is dealing with he and his wife's seperation...things could be different.... _________________ -Colin

Same, I think that'd be awesome. That and the north pole, or Barrow, Alaska, northern most point in the US. _________________ "IRONMAN" cometh, hiketh, destroyeth |

When my oldest daughter was little she used to watch Hercules (with Kevin Sorbo). Since then I've wanted to go to New Zealand. In 1987 I went to Belgium and France to see the end of the Tour de France. I'd love to do a bike (and beer) tour in Belgium. |

I'm jealous of Colin going to the Tour this year and would love to see Lance attempt 6. The miles add up though so I don't think this will be easy. Of course Colin will be sitting in a little sidewalk cafe living the easy life or will he be high on a mountain pass breathing some of the alpine air watching the climbers decimate the pack? Colin you better bring back a load of photos so I can live vicarioulsy.
I want to go to Death Valley and the high country of the Weminche Wilderness. Past that the list is too long to relate here. It is not linear. The further I get from Tucson the bigger the list gets. The Sonoran Desert is my favorite place on this planet though. _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys

I really want to go to the Weminuche Wilderness as well. I am in the planning stages of a weeklong trip there for next summer. The route of the CDT through this wilderness is said to be one of the finest high altitude hikes in North America. _________________ "Men wanted for hazardous journey. Yes, that wilderness is great. I have done the CDT through this area from Stony Pass to Wolf Creek Pass.( 80 miles) It stays high and about as far from roads as one can usually get. |
