Is anyone out there for cross-country skiing? They finally have snow this year and I can never get anyone to go with me.

I'd love to but I have never skied before in my life 'ceptin' in the water and they say it ain't the same!

Let's go! It's the only kind of skiing I've done. Downhill scares me. i fear broken bones.

They offer lessons, the first being how to get up when you topple over.

Well, theres also this small matter of the fact that I have my grand dtr for three days and I am sure I dont want to try and pack her in with me on skis!

I would have to plan out in advance as well. I am booked up every weekend this month except the 15th, and I'm out of town most of the rest of the time. I was just wondering how many out there had an interest in going cross-country skiing.

If I could rent equipment fairly inexpensively and could find the time I would be very interested.... does that help?

They rent the equipment right there. It's like $24/day and that includes the trail pass.

I would love to do this, it's been years since I've cross country skied! Most weekends are booked, but the 15th I have NO PLANS! Can I come along? Multi

Of course you can stand the cold (Az doesn't even know what cold is). Besides when you are working that hard, it's hard to stay cool enough. It's a blast! Mary
