Shihiyea has been gracious enough to invite all of us to her place for a Christmas party.
This would be a great time for you parents to show off your new offspring.
Saturday - 12-11-04 - 5:30 PM - ?
Y'all'l need to RSVP
Y'all need to BYOB
Y'all need to bring a dish or needed item (a regional dish would be ideal)
Y'all need to bring some sort of present wrapped for blind exchange
We'll also have a donation box for food and donations for the needy families of the Phoenix area.
My company - Gartman Technical Services has adopted a needy family for the holidays. They are in need of donations for gift certificates for food. If you wish to donate, this would be a helpful venue for us.
There should be great conversation and a great time to be had one and all.
Be prepared for a community discussion of your memorable Christmas stories, possibly some carolling and a prayer or two.
Shihiyea, Sande J and GTG will help to make this turn out as smooth as possible for all.
We will need folks to volunteer to help set up and clean up.
PM Shihiyea for directions and PM myself or Sande J with your RSVP and your menu addition.
Attendees -
Shihiyea - making BBQ sandwiches and some sort of desert....maybe, at least brownies for Hooli and cookies!
RedRoxx44 - non alcoholic beverages, maybe some egg nog, paper cups (large) and bowls, extra large garbage bags, chips
GTG - Fried Okra? - Two large coolers with ice, paper plates and bowls
Arizonaheat

Sande J - a vat o' chicken tortilla soup
Hikngrl and Ron - chicken wild rice and mushroom soup

Trishness - some baked ziti or lasagna
Hiker In Gilbert - another cooler or two, and some chips and dips
azhiker96 and sunflowerrn - Vegan Lasagna and Garlic Bread

Thanks for offering up the hostess role Mary.
Put me down for a tentative GTG. I should be able to make it, but just not 100% sure yet. |
