Since I know that quite a few people are interested in
canyoneering. The American Canyoneering
Association (ACA) will be holding a Basic Canyoneering Course in the
Salt River Canyon area north of Globe from Saturday, October 9th,
through Monday, October 11th.
Most of the classes are offered in Utah.
Course description and registration information can be found at:

Some folks around the Valley might recall a company called "Wilderness Adventures"....
Rich Carlson, former owner of W.A. is now the Executive (@ ACA) in charge of training....
Maybe he'll make an appearance in Globe.

Sure, I remember Wilderness Adventures. But aren't all these folks running for-profit businesses? These are biz ventures, no? Commercial enterprises, right? |
