I'm sorry I guess I'm doing something wrong! If you right click on the image placemat you will get the option to open it. I tried uploading the image several times and this was the best I could do!

(And thanks to Daryl for a new Avatar!)

For a windscreen, I bought an overliner and cut it to my required dimension. If you fold over the top it will last a long time. It last longer then foil and is more sturdy. I bought the ovenliner at fry's for 2.19 and you get two of them. Smile

I too have purchased one of these "Ultra-Light Stoves". Seen it demonstrated at one of the REI sessions and looked ideal.
However, after experimenting with it I found out I needed a no brainer, maybe I'm not smart enough, too impatient or maybe it's more geared for someone with an Engineering degree. Laughing I know most guys love it.

Oh GB! It is way easy to use! As long as you are not wanting to do any gourmet cooking out on the trail it is perfect! Perhaps some day when we hike together we can both bring them along and have a hot cup of coffee on the top of a peak some where so I can show you how it works!

Sounds like a plan Diane, right now it's collecting dust. I will say though after seeing gpsjoe's new toy, the Jetboil - I'm eying that one. I could not believe how fast this thing heats water. While mine was still thinking about getting hot, Joe already sipped on his coffee. Laughing

Jetboil? Where would one find one of those? How big is it and how much does it weigh? OH my gosh! I am beginning to sound like an ultra lighter aren't I!?

Jetboil is not the lightest nor the smallest but as one gets older we appreciate the convenience and luxury. Guess that is how one tells they're getting old Laughing
