Went for a hike this morning to freemont saddle and found this!!! It must have rained a lot last night!

That's nothing, back in the day we used to get rain that would cover the needle. Shocked
We used to catch some awesome bluegill fly fishing off the north end of it.
Yep, you just don't see much of that anymore.

We are fortunate, we've seen it rain. I sure hope the kids get to see it someday.

Actually this was created using a free photoshop plug in. You can add water to the bottom of any picture and you have complete control of the waves, reflection... Very easy and very fun to play with. This one came out so well I had to share. I filled the grand canyon this morning too!

Brings to mind the story of an 1880's flow on the Colorado that is said to have been 100 feet up the sides of the inner gorge. Wouldn't ya like to see that?
