Yep, somebody developed clothes that never need washing.

About halfway down the inventor specifically mentions people he had in mind when developing the fabric:

Yeah, i think i will stay away from that. Unfortunately i have experienced my clothes that have not been washed!!

So after a few days????

If it takes a few days for the clothes to clean themselves how are they ever going to be of any use? And as dirty as I get, I have to imagine that it'll take a week to get rid of all that dirt, and meanwhile I'd be picking up more dirt as I go...

Seems like theres kind of a point of diminishing returns doesn't it?

Well, the laws of physics basically say there's no free meals, so you're probably right. I doubt that they last forever and I doubt they get 100% clean in a matter of days.

Who knows? We'll wait and see how successful they are.
