Photography Course via Gilbert Community College

With all the interest in Photography ...I thought I'd share some info on some excellent classes offered by Gilbert Community College. ( your local community college may offer something similar too...)

Particularly the saturday class has had some rave reviews ( have many collegues who took these for fun) -- its a more of a laid back "learn" vs get grade kinda class ( weekday class are more rigorous)

ART131 Photography I (L+L) Credits: 3.0
Basic black and white photographic principles and techniques. Camera functions and controls. Darkroom experience in film processing and printmaking. Camera required. Prerequisites: None.
Saturdays 08:40AM-02:00PM SKOUSON, REGINA 08/21-12/17

ART132 Photography II (L+L) Credits: 3.0
Advanced camera and darkroom techniques. Aesthetic awareness with personal expression. Prerequisites: ART131 or permission of instructor.

ART142 Introduction to Digital Photography (L+L) Credits: 3.0
Fundamentals of digital photography. Includes camera operations, exposure techniques, introduction to digital output, and theory of digital photography. Prerequisites: None.

Tuesday/Thursday 1:00 pm - 3:40pm KIRKPATRICK, KEL 08/24-12/17

I will be working my way through these classes as time permits ...( which means I canont hike Saturdays...aarg...you win some -- you loose some!)
