Isn't it obvious? Rolling Eyes Deliverance was filmed on the Georgia/South Carolina line. The west bank of the river was Georgia, the east bank South Carolina. I'm from South Carolina... Besides, CV's always been kinda squirrely...

Once again, the internet provides an outlet for people who have WAAAAY too much time on their hands.

Hey, I don't make the stuff - I just point it out.

It's a public service.

Just 'Dueling Banjos', some pig grunts and a YeeHaw or two. Typical damnyankee interpretation of life in the South...

Don't discourage Daddee....the more time he spends on the net instead of working the less damage he can do to my BofA stock Razz

Other than that overly whimsical "Ku Klucker Klan" part, I'd say that's a pretty accurate rendition of the South...

Twangers, squealers, and yahoos...

Hey, I resemble some of these remarks!! I am proud to have a grown up a Tennessee redneck. We got to say "you reckon" and "I'm gonna carry her to the store" . When it rained a lot it was a "frog strangler" ---if it rained while the sun was shining "the devil is beating his wife".

What I liked about the south-- fishing in our pond off my horses back; swinging on grapevines and dropping into the creek, in the river canoe on a quiet morning watching the fog rise from the water and the rhythmic canoe paddle stroke, camping out in what we called "woodsy's"-unescorted teenage boys and girls---you figure it out. Crawling around in the unmarked limestone caves.

Dislikes- the humidity, mosquitos bigger than birds, lack of open country/views, gray gray winters, and water mocassin and cottonmouth snakes- those guys could be really ornery if stirred up.

What say you GTG, Mike and any other expatriate southerners????
