So what's the story with the picture of the dead bear in the gallery? Where was it? Why was he killed? Would like to know about this.

I am repulsed by that image. I don't like to see dead animals, especially with blood.

I didn't mean to offend anyone. I received that picture and others and started to post them and the story, but was distracted. They came as bmp format and I didn't take the time to convert them all.

The bear (and the bike) were killed in a motorcycle accident on Lolo Pass in MT. The rider spent three days in the hospital but survived. The pictures, while gruesome, are stunning as to the size of the animal.

with the size of the bear, I'm surprised with the outcome of the rider.. Glad the rider is ok. Not so lucky for the bear unfortunately.
