I didn't pay attention to the fs signage and don't remember the number. But the road for Brown's Peak was in good shape. Cristina, Ace and I set off today to hike to Pine Saddle. The last 3 miles (1 on the main road in, last 2 miles to the TH) were snow covered and a while passable, probably best for 4 x4 (last 3 miles only) when coming in from the west side off the Beeline. Both on the way up and down, the last mile of the main road saw people slip off the road and create a bottle neck until they could be winched or pushed out.

As for water crossings, shallow; deepest was 6".

We exited the east side after seeing the bottle neck a second time. Snow went roughly 4 miles down on the east side. 2 wheel was fine if you do not stop or cross paths with someone and need to get to the extreme right or left of the road--4 x 4 needed for those spots.

We didn't go to the peak but right from the TH snow was only 3" or 4". Beautiful though and worth th edrive for a hike and picnic Very Happy
