I found an easy free place that will resize pictures for you, only takes a minute as well.

It can do them for different sizes, some websites say 75x75, others 100, or 200.

What I would do is crop whatever area you want to be your avatar on your own, then upload it on that website and it will resize it. It has to be a max of 2mb's, but with a cropped image that shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe a simple answer off the FAQ's link. With places resizing online it's a heck of a lot easier than doing it yourself.

I've tried it and it is giving issues. I'm going to have to have someone troubleshoot this one.
