Utah was great for skiing, however, I got bitten by bedbugs at the hostel(hostile?) now turned into a halfway house for indigent locals and others. It is a nightmare ;hives all over and almosty went into shock; had to get a Kenalog shot(steroid) to settle down histamine reaction...feel like a leper.Reported them to the Utah Board of healt. As I work with the public and have these hives all over, feel really unclean and awful...so itchy and living on Benadryl. I never want any0ne to go through this and if I can close them down, i will try. Certainly should be struck off the hostel list. Mad

OHHHHHHHHHHHH, Saw these on a 60 minute special......nightmare! They said always look behind the pictures when entering a hotel room. I spend a good chunk of time in hotels during the summer sometimes travel with my silk liner.

I've always had an impression that hostiles were not the cleanest place, hence the pricing....but these bugs can be anywhere. What did the place say? How long will it take to clear up........do they lay eggs?

Got any pictures of the bites?

I used Zyrtec for hives a number of years ago, cleared them up within a 24 hours or so. I was drowsy for the year I was on it, but the trade off was worth it.
