Anyone running the Redrock Canyon Half or Full Marathon this coming Saturday outside of Vegas? The link is below. My wife and I are flying out Thursday for the run then we're heading up to Zion, Bryce and then on to Moab for the Moab Half Marathon the following Sunday. I think were going to get some kayaking in on lake mead also.

Here's the link for the Red Rock Run. It's so beautiful there. Once you get out of the circle and into the wilderness it's amazing.

Hope your Marathon in Vegas was fun! I spent the weekend running the ragnar relay in Arizona - it's amazing how running & races can get into your blood.

Good luck this coming weekend for the half!

Diane,
I don't want to hijack this thread - so I'll start another on the ragnar relay. I had a few PMs indicating they were interested in the event!

Thanks for asking Jeannine

The race went great. It was in the Red Rock Canyon 13 mile loop. the group who set it up was Calico racing. And i must say they did a great job!!! my wife and I will be making this a yearly race. From Vegas we drove to Zion, Bryce and ended up in Moab for the Canyonlands Half Marathon the folllowing week. What a great time. we spent 2 days in Zion, 2 days in Bryce and 3 days in Moab hiking and kayaking. We even got a chance to head over to Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point for some hiking and photography. I'm sorting through all the photos now and will also be putting together a writeup for my website and blog about our trip.
