OK, how tough would it be to create a page for say a group hike or an epic, and allow people to "sign on" to that page so that they're name would appear in some way. That way, we could check one page and see who's going on a hike....does that make sense?? _________________ -Colin

Todd was talking about this idea today. The board already has groups, so I think it'd be possible to create a group and let members join the group. It probably wouldn't be that difficult to add it as feature within a topic.
Ok, it's on the to do list.... _________________ |

Can you create groups that expire? Or maybe a better question is, can you create groups that are not permanent? You could create a group for a specific event and then it would disappear after the event takes place. That way, you don't have groups that are created for a specific event that are on the site indefinitely. If we have the same group hike next year, last years group doesn't get confused with this year's group. Does this make sense? _________________ Steve |

Steve, I think that would be possible, too. That's a good idea. _________________ |
