I was making some home made ice cream this evening with the handcrank, Halfaway thru the churn I noted I bought goat milk instead of heavy cream. Nuts.

Bummer,

I ve got a recipe for peach ice cream I may try tomorrow. I'm told peach is the best for home made.

I have a Braun........stick it in the freezer overnight, add milk (or cream), sugar or Splensa, fruit, turn on the motor and y'all got ice cream in 30 minutes with no hand cranking.

Shawn, Todd recently made some peach icecream that was to die for! It was so yummy!

So John, did you finish making the icecream? You could call it ice milk ya know. It might taste ok!

This receipe says to macerate the peaches. I had to look that term up.
Mine is a White Mountain, electric, 6 quart.

Todd's recipe just called for peach chunks but we pureed a couple of peaches and added them as well besides the chunks.....can't leave a recipe alone ya know!

It's done, pretty dang rich. Egg yolks, peaches, sugar, cream, whole milk, more sugar, little lemon juice, vanilla, more sugar. I can hear my arteries hardening. It's iced/salted down freezing hard.
