A contest of some sort on the Today show. I'm certain it has got to be in Arizona!!

Starting in July, TODAY's new series 'America the Beautiful' is on a hunt to list the top 10 most beautiful places in the United States. Let us know what you think is America's most mesmerizing location! It doesn't have to be a well-known, tourist hotspot — it could be your local lake, a state park or even your backyard. Send in your photo or video footage and TODAY might broadcast from your spot!

I'll bet there will be some spectacular photos and places submitted. But I don't like company so I hope some of my favorite places will go unnoticed Wink

Perhaps, or on any given day, somewhere on the Colorado Plateau.

They will not find some of them. The guidebooks are narrow in scope compared to what is out there. I quit naming specifics some time ago as well. I did come across a real enigma mid-week somewhere on the Colorado Plateau and don’t know where to start with my search. I don’t exactly know why but it evokes shades of one of your favorite characters.
