I know there are more than a few Ed Abbey fans here, so here's another recent collection of his wit and wisdom.

"Postcards from Ed: Dispatches and Salvos from an American Iconoclast

Not just environmental, but political, social and of course humor. Just a morsel- "Of the seven deadly sins, wrath is the healthiest - next only to lust." Funny stuff.

Hey Nealz, have you been catching any of this great cross country skiing?

Will have to check out that Ed Abbey. I have most of his books, including an autographed one, but not that one! Thanks for the heads up!

A very battered paperback copy of Desert Solitaire. Bought it for $5 from a friend of mine who owns a bookstore.

Oh, heck yeah. Some snow shoeing too. This moisture should go a ways to help the forest as well when it melts and trickles down to the roots.
