My sister just sent me this book: Sandstone Spine: Seeking the Anasazi on the First Traverse of the Comb Ridge by David Roberts. Photographs by Greg Child.
I haven't read it yet, can't wait! If you're a reader of Southwest topics you will have already read Roberts' book In Search of the Old Ones. It has always been one of my favorite outdoor books. I finally got to take a trip to Grand Gulch this past May, saw Jailhouse Ruin, Big Man Pictographs, Perfect Kiva, and dozens more.
OK, I just checked after posting this, Letty has already done a book review of this! Well, I'll post this anyway, give the book more exposure, then you can read her review, too, in case you haven't yet! |
