Multi Multi Yahoo!
I did it, I did it!!

I've had a hankerin to explore a little canyon that will require some rappeling skills and I had none. (except the one time I followed Diane up a green rope and then had to figure out how to get back down)

Diane and Honk (hnak, hank or hak) took time on Saturday to show me the ropes. Laughing We started my instruction flat on the ground first, moved to a 20 foot rappel and then on to one that was about 70 feet. It took me about 5 trips over the edge to start feeling the fun. Now I can't wait to go back and walk over the edge of 200 foot drop and dangle from a bridge. I think I'm hooked!

Looking for a harness to call my own in case any of you should have one that you need to sell.

Thanks Diane and Hank for helping me to obtain another goal in the wide wild world of hiking! You guys are awesome!

Lots more for me to learn...but I have the basics.

I think I'd like to get a handle on how to go UP a rope, just in case.

Does "Up" mean the same thing as "Return"?

Yep, when 'down' gets you to a place that you can't go any farther, then it's a good thing to know about 'up'.... Wink
