I retouched my bear cub photos in my current photo set from the Chiricahaus to the best of my ability to make them look the best I could.
As a result there has been a question as to there authenticity, which I understand and take no offense to.
I'm creating another small album with the un-retouched photos of the bear cub with the EXIF data attached so one can see the time and date taken, shutter speed and all that good stuff.
As I said the lighting sucked, I was shaking from excitement and adreanlin, my camera setting was wrong....... |

Love the pictures in both albums they are great---awesome opportunity for you!
I think the last AZ HIGHWAYS had an article about bear cubs and the how the mama bears act. The one time I saw a bear cub we were in a car driving in backcountry and scared it so the sighting didn't last long.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing the photos....and all of your pics. You inspire me to hike more and carry heavier gear. |

Make your claims and post all the unretouched photos you want Kent. I still don't believe a word you say or post.

Much better images than I would have captured. When I see a bear I am either backing out quietly the way I came or being chased halfway down a mountain by the monster. Good work Kent. _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys

When people are jealous they tend to lash out. Let em'. They are the ones that will look dumb.
You took some awesome photos, had a great trip and have the memories.
Some day I hope to see at least one bear. If I don't , that's okay, I can refer back to your photos.
Glad you had a nice time. |

Hey young man. How's 'bout showing up for this June GHOTM thingy just outside'a Flagstaff next week? You can eat like a pig and get drunk and puke on mountains the next day like everybody else!

Now I know I just read that in here someplace. Yes. I think it was part of a planning discussion. Group puke on Humphreys. I'm sure or it.
