After continuous bug bites over the last few trips, I have become desperate for relief. I am now armed with bug spray, after bite, calamine lotion, aveno bath powder and benadryl. I came across this article that describes specific bugs, their habits, and myths. May be useful...

I have only ran across gnats so far. I'm gonna end up getting that head covering that Dan wears in that movie " w/out a paddle". Laughing I can see where it would help a lot though. How much of these items are you adding to your first aid kit?

The only thing I am going to bring next time is bug spray. That's all I need. Oh, and my zip pant bottoms. That's all I need. Oh, and a long sleeve shirt. That's all I need. (The Jerk)

Just kidding...

I don't have a big first aid kit. Just a small bag with assorted bandaids, benedryl, mole skin and tape. Oh, and Advil.
