Memo to hikers: If you have never been on a horse or mule in your life and someone tries to convince you to ride one on a rocky trail for 10 miles, I heartily recommend that you decline.
I wondered what was wrong and in my National trail hike I began to hurt more and more. The MD said I have a definite hernia from the battering that area took during that ride out. I admit there was a grat deal of pain at times. I would rather have had a root canel without novacaine.
Obviously I will NEVER even get near a horse or mule again. I can not have it operated on for 2 weeks due to MD schedules so have to use pain pills and an Osco drug support truss to even walk around.
I certainly do not learn very fast do I? I sure learned this time! My future hikes will be much more carefully planned!!!! |

I have a better idea. Have the surgery, heal, and get back on the horse again! _________________ "Surely all God's people, however serious or savage, great or small, like to play.
