For those who are interested there will be a regional group holding a caving outing on Sept 24 and 25 up on the mogollon rim. I don't have all the details yet, when I do I will post them and or the link. As far as I know it is open to everyone, however I think there might be a requirement of membership, I think it costs $2.00 or so.

Sat will be caving, Sun am a short trip probably, then a business meeting then out. It will be a campout, not sure what the food situation is.

I plan on going, along with some of the other grotto members.

Ok, have more info, this will be sort of north of Payson, in a campground on the rim. If interested Pmail me and I will provide link and a little more information.
It is open to anyone interested. Activities, caving, ridgewalking (sounds like hiking to me, looking for likely cave openings) and digging (probably depression or cavities that might be a cave opening in the making).

If you want to cave you have to be prepared. I don't think gear will be provided.
