This is the night to see the Geminid Meteor shower. If you can pick out Orions Belt, (3 stars in a row to the southeast) look to the left and you'll see the constallation of Gemini. There is a bright star called Castor. The light show will start from here!! I'm heading out to the darkness of the Supes to watch this.

I was out in my backyard around 12:30--it was fair but I still had some background city lights here. Not as great as out in the desert viewing. Saw several shooting stars in the am while waiting for Heat and Sande Sat and Sun night out for my evening constitutional.

Set up a louge chair and slumbered the night away, observed several. Had a bobcat come visit and check me out. |
