Even in 29 Palms. Of all places. Camping out at the Celeste La Ve mine in Joshua Tree National Monument and I woke up to what sounded like rain hitting my tent, so I popped my head out for a look see. It was snow! Really an awesome surprise.

Never had the pleasure and I s'pose one day I would like to try waking up under a blanket of snow. I love my zero degree bag so I think I could stay warm inside there but I am almost certain the getting out of the bag would be way hard to do!

Not to mention the fact that rain down here, could mean snow up north! Can't wait to hit the slopes! Wink
