32 mile night ride on the mtn. bike out on the desert. Visted the ruins of an old townsite Reymert (1880 to 1898) and several indian ruins (Hohokam 850AD to 1350AD) including a ball court. Took a black light and looked for scorpions and found about two dozen. Also observed a couple of millipedes and centipedes, three rattlesnakes, acoyote and a small herd (took off as I approached) of javelina. Also noted a lot of bats flying about and also observed a pair of burrowing owls.
