For those of you going out to see fireworks this weekend - here is a roundup of some links to tutorials and how-to's for shooting good pics of fireworks.

Find a very dark place far from street lights, use a steady tri-pod and a remote, 1 second shutter, 200 ISO, mid range aperture. Experiment from there to get the best results.

Keep the shutter open for the entire burst, but do not keep it open any longer then you need to or you'll fade the fireworks and get noise.

The remote on the 300D allows you to hold the shutter open as long as you hold the button down. Perfect for fireworks.

I have a casio digital camera and it has a "fireworks" setting-made specifically for fireworks. Simple.
