Now I have to figure out how to get some of our cabin pictures on this site. Doug will help me he will be here in a couple days. Be patient.

[quote]p.s. so can I come to visit? Imagine an island all to yourself!

Shoot, all you have to do is call and say "I'm coming over"

That's what I tell everyone, but you won't have an island all to yourself, it is the inland lake you will have all to yourself. There is however a teensy little island in Bass lake that you can boat to and hike all around in about oh, say 30 minutes depending on how thick the underbrush is.

Ive decided to change my previous plans (what's new!) and would rather hike the 2nd largest canyon in Arizona. Starting at the Kelsey trail I am going to make a lazy 2 nighter in a clockwise fashion down to the Winter Cabin to stay on night 1. After some inspection of the surrounding area and takin' some pics of the skeenery, refilling all my water jugs, I plan to hike upstream on the usually dry Sycamore creek bed until I reach the Little Lo Canyon. There are some interesting narrows in the area, including side canyons and a 2nd night here will give me plenty of time to explore and photograph these areas with the bonus of an easy short hike back to the truck. The perennial springs in the area include Kelsey, Dorsey, Winter Cabin, and Geronimo. It's rated more difficult and is about 14 miles not including side exploration. C'mon in!!
