Hiked across Saguaro NP east on Saturday (Turkey Creek to Douglas Spring Trailhead, requires a car shuttle). Only saw a few people towards the end after passing Douglas Spring Camp. Nice weather, though cool on Mica Mt with a bit of lingering snow.

Trip description is posted on my web site in the 'Hikes' section, under the 'Southeastern Ranges' heading.

Wow, that sounds like a pretty cool hike. I did a similar hike down there about a month ago that ended up being 27 miles in 2 days. I posted it so you can check it out by checking out all posts that I've done. That hike was crazy though. I'd like to do the Rincon Peak hike someday, any pointers you could give me?

Rincon Peak is another good one. The only reasonable day hike access is from the Miller Creek Trailhead. Two sources of info are:

Wow, that second link site you gave me is pretty sweet. Thanks for the info.
