These are some of the things I saw yesterday and this morning. We came in from a route along the Colorado where we turned right near Lake Havasu and flew a strict route near the Grand Canyon. We stayed in Page and I did my little adventure. This morning we flew out over Marble Canyon. This is an area you will pass through when traveling to southern Utah and is very near Lee's Ferry and Navajo Bridge. The Vermillion Cliffs beckon. The possiblities are without end.

A strange little place in Lake Powell
The water in Lake Powell is way down in evidence of the drought. The white stripe above the waterline shows the high mark.
Remember, this was a working trip and serious business! LOL _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys

Unbelievable Glen. You set to give flying lessons? or at least a tour?
Every pic of yours that I have seen deserves no less than front page of a magazine. Ever consider getting some of them published? Dang they're good. |

I agree with everyone and these should be published. Just incredible photography!

Thank you so much everyone. All of you are in a different league when it comes to hiking so it is not often I can offer anything useful in the conversation but I do what I can. When the conversations turned to the canyons of the Glen Canyon areas, I knew I could be of a little help.
Thanks again _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys

You all are far too kind but thanks!
I have enjoyed photography since my sophomore year in highschool when I bought my first SLR at the Base Exchange in Minot, North Dakota. They gave me all the film and paper I wanted at school so experimentation was rampant. No, I didn't stay long in the north country as I left home and headed for Florida when I was 16. I have been in southern Arizona for almost 30 years now and like it much better than either of those flat places.
I think having a good subject is one of the important things in photography and this stunning terrain we live in is just that. (refer to ArizonaHeats lyrical prose on these lands of beauty) But I know you all understand why we are continually drawn to it. Sometimes it can be put down in words or into a photograph and sometimes it can't. _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys
