Yahoo! Got the latest Backpacker mag. in with the Glen Adventure Guide and other real cool stuff. But what makes this issue most exiting is that we are SO LUCKY to live so close to the Canyon Lands.
Now all we need to do is plan some trips to upper AZ.

I'm all for that, let me know when. There is some awesome canyoneering in that neck of the woods. Maybe we can get Glen (boynhisdog) to be our guide, he has spent some time exploring up there. _________________ Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. |

I'm in as well. Maybe we could also get Glen to fly us up there!
I'm interested in the fact that this issue of Backpacker includes the GPS coordinates of the locations of which their articles speak. It's an interesting idea...
I've totally got the jones for hitting Glen Canyon...there are areas that are hikeable now that haven't been so since the dam went in!! _________________ -Colin

AzHeat, we are returning to southern Utah this year. Girlfriend wants to go back with backpacks and asked me what I thought. I told her she would be hard pressed to ever hear me say no to that. There are so many places to explore and many of them don't have a lot of people. Of course if you go to the places in Backpacker or Nat'l Geo Adventure, you will find people.
I just got back from Page today and got in a trip through the wastelands. I'll put it up as it is very similar to southern Utah.
I also flew over some excellent sights on the way so should put them up in a different thread.
Colin there are too many cool things to see on the way. Flying is nice but driving that country is not to be missed. _________________ Seize from every moment its unique novelty and do not prepare your joys
