Well, Tuesday morning we rose early and joined all the morning rush hour traffic except our purpose and destination was a bit more refreshing than that of the masses with which we shared the road. I met up with a friend of mine whom lives in Tempe; Matt. After loading up, we set-out for the Wet Beaver Creek Wilderness Area. As Matt has not done a a great deal of hiking in Arizona; I wanted to show him some place that was fun, cool and relatively easy to access so he might want to do more hikes. We hiked out the Bell Maid trail to the "Crack" at Beaver Creek. We stayed and jumped off the cliffs a few times then headed further up the creek for a little "exploring". On the way back down stream we jumped a bit more at the crack and did a little swimming. On a side note--this was the most populated I have ever seen the Crack. There were 4 - 5 different groups of kids but everyone seemed to picking up there stuff and acting relatively sanely Laughing

All and all, it was a great trip. I will hopefully get around to heading out for more water hikes next week if any one is interested...thinking West Clear Creek?!?
