Snow Peak Titanium Trek 700 cook mug, already opened it. My son who's deployed right now ordered it for me. I'm going to experiment with cat food can stove à la Andrew Skurka's Youtube directions and blog. I wish to both lighten and compress my cook kit.

I got a new back-pack. One of these new fan-dangled ones (built within last 15 years) that is made by "Field and Stream". It has the back meshing and water reservoir. I also got a new hammock tent and tree straps! Now I just need to get out and use them Laughing

Anyone else get some cool outdoor toys?

Nice! Angela, let me know how that wine glass/cup works. I've been eyeing it for awhile now. Also curious about that self heating beverage.

I have two new backpacks on the way from Osprey! (Love their warranty). Got a sexy NOAA weather radio, a super bright headlamp, a waterproof camera for the canyons (it's purple) a couple of warm layers, a heavy duty tripod to replace the one I recently DROVE over and some Asics Gel Nimbus shoes as an attempt to relieve a bit of my walking issues.

Ambika---what was in your stocking?
