Dont know if anyones tried a wood burning stove in the backcountry, but I recently purchased one and use it backpacking a few times and thought I would share the review.

Thank you muchly for your review! I surely appreciate not having to be the one to deal with testing the stove to know weather or not I want to use it. As Todd says he has one and has been threatening to use it for years now! I am a fan of the ease of the gas stove. In the past the majority of our back packing has been done in the Canyon where open flames are not allowed. Having read your review I guess I could deal with a short trip with the wood burning stove just to experience it. I know Todd would love using it. Maybe if I let him take the wood burning stove he will plan a trip for us ya think?
