http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=234 (6 miles one way)

Ambika asked me to post this hike. Actually I think this is a test to see if I can figure out how to post a hike Wink .

We were going to do this hike today but Ambika was in charge of a party that went too late last nite so we didn't go hiking. (See what happens when you let me post a hike Laughing ).

We intend to run it as a shuttle and there may be others that want to do a round trip. You also have the option of adding on a hike to: Hieroglyphics Trail http://hikearizona.com/decoder.php?ZTN=61 which would total around 9 miles for a great day in the Supes.

I'm leaning toward starting from the east side of this hike at Carney and that way the sun will be behind you. I haven't finished Rxing this hike but I think there is some additional exploring one can do not too far from the main trail.... and the snakes are sleeping so this would be a good time; especially if Tracy is along Wink

Oh if Sunday is more doable; we can opt for that.

Hope you have a Nice time on the hike. Looks like you'll have some good weather. Looked like an interesting one. Enjoy !!

Won't be able to join you this time. My brother will be leaving after the weekend for the looong drive back, so, I'm spending the last couple of days with him before he leaves.

We had a wonderful hike -- fun hike with a scramble up Turk's Head (some cool rock up there Smile ) and the weather was spectacular! The everchnaging light kept it very interesting. We were treated to another amazing AZ sunset! It was a great way to wrap my 2011 AZ hiking!

Indeed a great day, a great hike with Turk's Head thrown in for good measure finished off with a spectacular sunset and then some darn good food. The company was top notch too!

If you haven't done this trail or Turk's Head, add it to your list. I think you'll really enjoy it.

Nice Hike there y'all and some great shots too!

Liked the ones of you in the Windows
On the first movie looking at Turks Head it almost looked like a ruins of some kind of structure with windows and door ways. And when you got to the top you could see the rocks that seemed to be balancing... Nice
Also liked that shot of the catcus with the million Arms. Gosh there were sooo many arms on that one

And the You Tube made me feel like I was walking along with ya on the hike. Great job of filming while walking. Had it been me it would probably not be steady and I'd be tripping along the trail. Ha!

Thanks for sharing your day !

I'm glad you liked virtual hiking with us. It is a great hike that I'm sure you would enjoy.
I must send kudos to the youtube stabilizer as it has helped in making one less seasick when watching. Wink
