Anyone have suggestions for hikes/activities around the lake area? Looking to spend some time in the area and need some suggestions.

Thanks.

From Roosevelt you're very close to Cherry Creek. Lots of hiking opportunities there and cliff dwellings.

West side, Explore the site of Camp Reno, the ruins on the ridge tops of Vineyard and Mills Canyon. East side Cottonwood Creek, Rock Creek, Tule trail head and Two Bar Ridge. Taking a road bicycle ride the highway along both arms, mtn. bike: take the roads and trails from the highway to the lake and visit the numerous ruins. Some additional tours this month at Tonto Nat. Monument.

Colin, when are you going? Park Creek is a hike with some decent elevation gain if you are looking for that. Oak Creek Canyon is a non-technical canyon with some very pretty sections, fun scrambling and a little work. I've got a couple others for you but I think you might have already gone.
