Picked up another pair of Dunham Boots, Cloud model. They have been very good to my feet.

Is that the low cut, but heavily constructed model? I see them on the web, but am reluctant to order without seeing them and trying them on. (Made that mistake before.) With this injury, I'm questioning my committment to heavy, high boots.

OK, I did a little research online, since I had remembered maybe Dunham was one of the few shoes to be made in narrow sizes. But looks like they are a division of New Balance now?? And I could find no references to women's sizes. Any search of women's on the website turned up only New Balance shoes.

I currently wear New Balance light hiking boots, and plan to try another one of their boots and their lowcut hiking shoes that all seem to come in my size. Even the narrow size is pretty darned wide, though. I have almost despaired of ever finding a true fit again, since more and more manufacturers are abandoning narrow sizes.

OK. I did order some Dunham Waffle Stomper lo-cut hiking shoes one time. The quality was terrible. And they were labeled my size, 10.5 AA but were very wide. I sent them back.
