I second Tim's suggestion of the Goodyear MT/R - they are the best tires that I've ever had on a truck; they grip like heck but still ride pretty soft on the highway.
After hearing/reading the hype, I tried Goodrich A/T and M/T - Once they are 1/2 worn they become hard and loud. I'd steer clear of them.

I got my new tires. 32" BFG M/T's. As an added bonus they came with a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the Islander package.
Tiki Bob is now my copilot
