I saw Sirena's presentation at Summit Hut in Tucson and it was well worth attending!

I'll be there Thursday. I'm looking forward to the event and of course, meeting the one and only Sirena. _________________ Angela from N Phoenix |

Last nite I went to Sirena's talk at PV REI. It was such a pleasure to meet you! Like many there, I did not realize the dedication and time required to complete a long trail plus the shuttles/caches involved . I enjoyed the presentation and could have listened even longer.
It's one thing to read Sirena's blog, another thing to hear her discuss her journey both with fibromyalgia and the AZT in person. It was nice to see the pictures with the story as well.
Besides her trail work with the Crazies, Sirena is now volunteering/fundraising for the Wildlife Rehabilitation Northwest Tucson.
Here is a link to her blog: http://desertsirena.wordpress.com/
and as many of you know she is now taking on the GET: http://desertsirena.wordpress.com/grand-enchantment-trail/
Congratulations Sirena on such a wonderful adventure and good luck on the GET. Enjoy the journey! _________________ Angela from N Phoenix |

I was there too with my friend Cori. It was a great presentation. We were very impressed by all that Sirena did to complete this incredible adventure. Thanks for sharing all those pictures with us too! (I was the guy who assisted with the computer...)
We are looking forward to your GET adventure! My friend Cori lives right off the trail where you started (near Aravaipa) so we were interested to learn more about that section of the trail! |

Glad you guys enjoyed my talk, and Ray, thanks so much for helping me out with the computer! If anyone is interested in having me come and do my presentation for your group, you can PM me and we'll work out the details. _________________ Sirena
