I bought these boots just last week and wore them for about three hrs around the house before I realized that they are just a little to big. These boots are size 11 regular with a gore-tex lining and Vibram soles. They weight 3lb. 11oz.
Regularly $189,they were on sale for $159. I have $170 in them and would like to get ninety bucks out of them.

Why don't you just take them back and get your money back? Most places will take them back especially if you have only worn them in the house. REI will take them back if you have worn them through a river!

Yeah, most places will take them back. I have a pair of Wasatches. I should have sent them back, too. Too dang heavy. I kept them for snowshoeing and for "working out," as in, having a lot of weight on my feet for the workout! Even heavy duty hard core backpackers don't wear that sort of thing any more.

My son wears that size and needs some trail shoes for a new job, but he can't wear boots. In fact, I think I will post a new thread about that. He's been on unemployment for ages, finally got a job in Utah, it's another hiking job like he had before, and he needs low-cut trail shoes, size 11. Anyone have a serviceable old pair?
