Who else doesn't know enough to stay home or go out hiking instead of work? I'm hoarding my days off because I will soon be able to turn them into $$, and then all my days will be "off."

I am at work, and had to work yesterday, at my moonlighting job, from 4 pm to 11 pm. Went biking with my family yesterday, hiked Flat Top with my family today.

Life is good, I'm very thankful.

I worked until 11:01AM. Then headed for REI to get some waterproof Merrell Radius Mid Hikers $40 off regular price, Crocs Mammoth Clogs (the removable poly shearling liner is so soft) for $15 off regular price and some North Face pants with a tie string (I could have used the tie string to hold my pants up going up the Flatiron) for $15 off regular price. YIKES, I should have worked all day. Wink

I was off and went to home depot and bought a new grill Smile I have not been to REI but it does sound like they had great deals!

I am still at work. Researching narrow boots on the internet, and ultralight backpacking gear. (Yeah, I know, life's tough when you can surf the internet while at work!)

Didn't work on Friday, didn't get paid for Friday, but I didn't buy anything either..
Hiked around Downtown Tucson looking like a bum just for fun!

Worked all day with my family, cut three pickup truck loads of firewood for heating our house. My two sons do the chainsaw and axe, we gals stack and load. Hubby babysits the grandbaby. Very good exercise, hard work, rewarding. We did all our cutting in the slash piles left over after the forest thinning project on 261. Pinon and alligator juniper.

Now I'm back at my evening job. More research into ultralight!
