A lot of us have ragged copies of The Hiker's Guide To the Superstition Wilderness. Some of us have heard rumors in the past few years that edition 2 is coming out. Well wait no more! Superstition Wilderness Trails East is finally out and ready to go. I have received my copy and am very happy with it so far. It contains lots of history and tales that some may or may not be interested in but it also has some great trail data as well. Jack and Elizabeth have a new website up that has some interesting history and stories listed in it as well as information for ordering their books as well. http://www.superstitionwildernesstrails.com
Also of note there are a number of local websites and individuals noted in the acknowledgements that have contributed to Jack and Elizabeth's writings to date. I suggest checking it out and preparing for the upcoming season out there.
The authors will also be signing copies at the Superstition Mountain Museum on November 7th and 8th for the Authors and Artists Gathering.

I guess they are out then. It must be Amazon that is slow on the take?
Great book so far nonetheless.

Kurt-
Do you have 9 personalities or is it possible that I made your xmas list this year? _________________ "I am just going outside and may be some time."- Explorer Oates' last words before crawling out of his tent in -40 C temps. Yep - they are for gifts (Jack was cordial enough to send MY one copy to the house a couple of weeks ago) ...
I thought about what to get ya Pete and Jackie reminded me that you like to snack on 'Coffee Mate' or 'Cremora' when you're out hiking, so I was leaning towards gettin' ya some of that. _________________ "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
