While out on the desert near Peralta, had a nice local rain storm followed by a dust storm, little different for a change.

Rain , what's that? My truck is dirty from a fake rain/dust a couple weeks ago in Safford,
Why wash it since I drive dirt roads alot. Drove up the Reddington Road yesterday. We did a truck shuttle. Hiked cross country to Del Salto Canyon and up the Canyon to the other truck.
Saw a Coati and a nice treat of Gila Monster drinking out of a pool.

Looking at the radar, it looks like the entire Tucson area including surrounding mountains got hammered. Here in Sahuarita we got about 2/3 inch according to my rain gauge, but so much of the rain was blowing sideways I suspect we got more than that.

Dark over Four Peaks, The Pinals and to the South. No rain but getting breezy.

Got a pretty good rain here last night around 9:00. Standing water in the backyard. Temp came down quite a bit too. It was nice.

Most Zonies Melt when it rains. No show for the hike I was guiding this AM.
Instead of going to Carr Peak where I had intended to go, I went over to Gardner canyon, Blue Sky there. Drove home in the Rain, and picked up some "Tombstone rain" at the little corner Wine Shop in Sonita. It's a sweet White Wine.

Torrential downpour and high winds last night around 7 PM out here in AJ. I got my X-terra power cleaned! We only had sprinkles this afternoon...just enough to make it look dirty again.
