West Clear Creek to Willow Valley via Maxwell Trail

Is it any easier to get into Willow Valley via West Clear Creek Cyn's Maxwell Trail? I know there are a lot of pools you have to swim across from the WV trailhead, but are there just as many pools to deal with, if you're coming from the other end?

The short answer is: It would be easier to access Willow Valley from the Maxwell Trail. At the bottom it is mostly wading, not swimming, to Willow Valley. Some of the more spectacular portions of Willow Valley are closer to that end anyway. Have fun!
