Mike, I looked at the packaging and there is no mention of caffeine anywhere there. Unless it is implied by the existence of coffee as one of the 2 ingredients then maybe not.

I shot off an email to them and asked that question. Will let you know what they say.

Mike, got a quick response to my email. He said

"My understanding is that their is some caffeine in the packets but the ganoderma somehow interacts with it to cancel out the gittery effect that most coffee possesses when you drink alot of it."

Nothing better than the best of all possible worlds. Like I said, it will let you leap tall buildings in a single bound.

I tried one and it is reasonably good tasting. The packaging is great for backpackers. The rest of the claims are just claims made by sales people (not medical pros) at this point.

Like Mike needs any help in leaping tall buildings or any kind of an energy boost. On the Maxwell hike he would get so far ahead in just moments that if it weren't for his bright shirt, I don't know that we could have ever found him, Laughing

im happy with my press but ya know its never too hard to try something new. i'll get a taste of chinese mushroom drink eventually im sure.

fwiw, i had some kirkland colombian from costco (the ol standby) from my press, then minutes later had a pack of JavaJuice. no contest. i like the press. it makes true, real coffee for less than 5 ounces. it is, my one and only, true luxury. Smile
