You're requirements offer lots of choices. Within 2 hrs of Phx you could be in low desert, high desert, rim country, canyon country or low pine/chaparral mix. What are you looking for?

My kids and I do. It's a fun option while hiking to see what's in the area and see where finding the cache takes us. We us a Geomate Jr. though so we're kinda taking the easy route. Very Happy
