We did a 'painless private' through Donnie Dove's 'Canyon REO' in Flag - Rented Rafts, Kitchen, Food Pack and Shuttles a few years back - About $1000 FOR 21 DAYS!

Although the BLM charges $30 to 'process' a refund, with 10 hikers ($50) it still makes sense money-wise .... with the added bonus that you will open up those (Friday) permits for ... |

Just returned yesterday, 11/27. The road is the best that I have seen it in a while. One of our group got her Chevy Cavalier to the Turkey Creek T/H (aka wilderness boundary). |

Well... I usually just throw it as far off the trail as possible.
Oh.. and leather gloves are a big help in handling the catclaw - not those fabric 'gardening' gloves, but real leather.
